Clay came into my life at primary school, then again at High School with a focus on texture and pattern. After a break of 25 years, clay & I were reunited at Mid Cheshire College and years of classes saw my house filled with ceramic objects of all shapes and sizes: thrown pots, bowls, mugs, sculptures and many garden ornaments! I'm now using press moulds and slip casting to create tactile objects and functional ware which want to be handled, touched and used, reflecting my fascination with the complexity of form around us
